About Me

Hi, I’m Elma.

I’m an award winning, qualified coach based in Galway, working online with clients on wellbeing, careers, life and relationships. I also offer executive and leadership coaching.

Much of my work is with people who have been keeping everything going but haven’t had much space to consider themselves. Others are facing a decision, questioning their direction or finding that something which once worked for them no longer does.

My experience

I have more than 1,000 hours of coaching experience and over 20 years of experience in HR, including senior leadership roles across a range of industries.

I’m also a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD.

My background has given me a broad understanding of working life, relationships and the personal impact of change. My coaching qualifications cover personal and business coaching, career coaching, mental health and wellbeing coaching and relationship coaching.

My approach

I’m warm, practical and interested in understanding your experience rather than making assumptions about it.

You don’t need to arrive with everything neatly explained. We can start with what’s on your mind and work from there.

I’ll help you explore your thoughts, recognise your strengths and question patterns or assumptions that may be getting in your way. I’ll also challenge you when it could help you see something differently.

What you choose to do remains your decision.

Working with me

I keep my coaching practice small and usually work with clients over several sessions. This allows time for reflection and for trying changes in everyday life.
